Community engagement and Social Research
I have worked with Groundwork on a number of projects that brought communities together to consult on their future development. These ranged from raising the awareness young people about the marine industry in South Essex, to working on an estate in Borehamwood to manage the use by the community of some of its open space.
Maze making
Groundwork Hertfordshire used this maze I built to show how people could navigate through changes to their environment. Dead ends were the sort of challenges people faced with the right paths having encouraging information on them
Outdoor education can sometimes involve a bit of dressing up. Leading sessions that create environmental art, shelter building or a bug safari are more usual activities
